LocationsErnst Stadler founds an engineering office in Zurich in 1942 and converts trams and small rolling stock to battery operation. When Peter Spuhler takes over Stadler in 1989, the company has 18 employees.
With around 13 000 employees at seven production and five component locations, as well as various service workshops, Stadler works day and night for environmentally friendly and comfortable mobility by rail.
