Hallesche Verkehrs-AG, transport operator in Halle, has commissioned Stadler with the delivery of a total of 56 TINA low-floor light rail vehicles of the latest generation.

There will be 17 vehicles in the longer XL version and 39 in the shorter M version. Maximum ceiling height in the aisles, as well as panorama windows provide a sense of space and an unobstructed view, with the open multi-functional areas offering ample room for pushchairs and wheelchair users. The specially designed TINA bogies ensure smooth running and also reduce wear on the wheels and tracks, while the energy-efficient and innovative drive concept of the TINA tram will improve the environmental friendliness of the local public transport system in Halle. The individual driver assistance systems are a significant innovation and include a new type of collision protection system. This will increase the safety of tram operations. The digital UNIBOARD© display adapts to the particular situation, allowing driving personnel to focus on what is important, thus also increasing the level of safety. And the intuitive operability makes TINA a thoroughly enjoyable experience for the driver.
