Stadler Winterthur is the competence centre for bogies. The bogies for standard and broad-gauge trains are produced on around 13,000 m2 of production and storage space at the site in Oberwinterthur. These parts are destined for EC250, FLIRT and KISS, as well as for trams.
Stadler has over 130 years of know-how with rolling stock as the successor to Schweizerische Lokomotiv- und Maschinenfabrik (SLM). In early 2010, Stadler Winterthur moved into its new purpose-built premises in Oberwinterthur.
