Changes in the Management of Stadler Prague

With the start of the new year 2025, Ondřej Vaško takes up the position of the CEO of Stadler Prague, taking over the management of the company from Bohumír Kráčmar, who has held this position since the establishment of Stadler Prague in 2009. At the same time Stadler is reinforcing it’s presence in the Czech Republic and in Slovakia: Zdeněk Majer joined Stadler Group at the end of 2024 as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Stadler Prague.
Ondřej Vaško joined Stadler Prague s.r.o. in January 2019 as technical project manager. After gradual career growth to the position of head of project management and COO, Ondřej took over the management of the company at the beginning of January and replaced Bohumír Kráčmar - executive director of Stadler Prague, who had been holding this position as a founding member since 2009, contributing to the successful development of the company.

I am glad that we will continue working with Bohumír, who will remain actively involved in the company's activities.
In order to further strengthen Stadler's position on the Czech and Slovak markets, Zdeněk Majer joined Stadler at the end of 2024 as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Stadler Prague. Zdeněk Majer will be responsible for the market development, marketing and strategy in the respective markets. - “Mr. Majer is a very experienced professional and I am happy, that he has joined Stadler family. I am convinced, that his expertise and knowledge will contribute to further growth of Stadler in the market”, says Dr. Ansgar Brockmeyer, Executive Vice President Sales & Marketing at Stadler.
Ondřej Vaško has over 15 years of comprehensive management experience in the rolling stock engineering and project management as well as in the energy power sector. For almost ten years he participated in investment projects for the design and construction of power plants, to then continue to apply this experience in the development of the rail business and the development of Stadler Prague. He is a graduate as electrical engineer at the Czech Technical University in Prague and currently is completing the MBA programm at the University of Econimics in Prague.
Zdeněk Majer has vast experience more than 20 years in the Rail Business holding several Top Management positions both in Czech Republic and abroad. Last two years he was serving as Chairman of the Power Engineering company SSI Energy Group in Prague. Zdeněk has studied International Management and Finance in the Czech Republic, Germany and USA. Since 2020 he is serving as Honorary Consul of Finland in the Czech Republic.
Stadler Praha s.r.o. is a design and construction office, a part of the Stadler Rail Group. The company is engaged in the design, development, construction and certification of rolling stock for rail and public transport, including subsequent production support at Stadler's production facilities. It offers modular vehicle concepts and customer-specific complex solutions. For 15 years, Stadler Praha s.r.o. has maintained a strong position in the development of new transport projects within the entire multinational Stadler Group.
