3 low-floor railway passenger cars were obtained in conjunction with the modernisationof the existing rolling stock parks for regional trains. In that way, the regional transport trains has made disabled- friendly facilities available from Autumn 2005 on. The basis of the car-body for the trains which have been ordered is that of the FLIRT trains which has been newly designed and fitted with a customised GTW railcar bogie. The low-floor areahas a lengthof nearly 17 meters. The cars can be employed as conventional locomotive-driven passenger trains as well as commuter trains as a trailer vehicle between the motorand control cars.
