Stadler Hungary Kft. supports sales and local marketing, and has its offices in Budapest. This unit is also responsible for the service centre in Pusztaszabolcs, which carries out both the maintenance of the FLIRT fleet of the Hungarian State Railway MAV, as well as third-party orders.

In order to be able to manufacture the large number of aluminium car bodies that will be required, Stadler has set up a new factory in Szolnok (Hungary). This will primarily deliver to Stadler Pankow, whose requirements have been covered by third-party companies up to now. This expansion therefore represents an insourcing.
