As a family-owned joint-stock company, Stadler Rail Group does not publish any annual report. Stadler Rail Group employs over 4'000 people in a total of nine locations in Switzerland, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, Italy, USA and Algeria, 2,400 of whom are based in Switzerland and around 800 in Germany.
In 2010 the consolidated turnover reached 1'077 million CHF. This year, a turnover of around CHF 1.5 billion will be achieved. In the rail vehicle industry, this is already known a year in advance, due to the long period between signing the contract and delivering the vehicle.
Thanks to a systematic focus of the product portfolio on the needs of the market, the number of employees, order bookings, and turnover have continuously increased over the past years.
