Al fine di espandere il trasporto pubblico locale nella Regione Veneto, la Sistemi Territoriali S.p.A ha acquisito 2 nuovi elettrotreni a pianale ribassato a quattro casse FLIRT (Fast Light Innovative Regional Train - Elettrotreno Regionale Rapido Leggero Innovativo). Insieme alle automotrici articolate Diesel-elettriche GTW già in servizio formano la spina dorsale della flotta di veicoli regionali della Sistemi Territoriali. I treni sono dotati di 240 posti a sedere e di una toilette per persone diversamente abili. L’installazione del sistema di controllo marcia treno SCMT consente l’impiego sull’intera Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (RFI).

Un ambiente passeggeri continuo, ottimizzato per l’incarrozzamento da marciapiedi con altezza di 550 mm ed elevate prestazioni di accelerazione sono due delle caratteristiche di eccellenza che contraddistinguono questo elettrotreno.
