Glacier Express wird noch attraktiver
(Chur/Brig/Altenrhein) Der weltbekannte Paradezug Glacier Express der Partnerbahnen Rhätische Bahn (RhB) und Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn (MGBahn) erhält nochmals einen entscheidenden Attraktivitätsschub. Um die Positionierung des Glacier Express als Premiumprodukt weiter zu entwickeln, haben beide Partner beschlossen, gemeinsam zusätzliche Panoramawagen zu bestellen. Damit werden ab dem Sommer 2009 vier gleichwertige Züge täglich zwischen St. Moritz/Davos und Zermatt und umgekehrt im Einsatz stehen. RhB und MGBahn investieren dazu insgesamt rund 20 Millionen Franken in neues Rollmaterial. Die Beschaffung der neuen Panorama- und Servicewagen erfolgt bei Stadler Rail AG in Altenrhein.

More FLIRTs for Ferrotramviaria
End of January 2008, Ferrotramviaria SpA exercised the option contained in the contract signed last year and ordered two further FLIRT electric multiple units. The value of the order is about EURO 11 million. With this the short-haul transport company for the Bari region will own a fleet of four FLIRTs from Stadler.
