Szerződött a MÁV-START Zrt. és a Stadler Bussnang AG

Flirt motorvonatok karbantartására és takarítására folytatott le hirdetmény közzétételével induló tárgyalásos közbeszerzési eljárást a MÁV-START Zrt.

Az eljárás 2008. október 16-án indult, a részvételi szakaszban egy hónap állt rendelkezésére a jelentkezésüket benyújtó cégeknek. FLIRT starts in Algeria

The opening of the first section of the Algiers rapid transit system was celebrated by state President Abdelaziz Bouteflika on 02.05.09. The Stadler FLIRTs have been running on timetable in Algeria since 03.05.09. The official opening was kept to a small scale for security reasons. Stadler Rail received the order from the Algerian national railways SNTF for 64 FLIRTs at a value of around CHF 600 million in 2006.

Stadler is building an IBS Centre in Erlen

Following the order from the SBB for 50 double-decker trains and the Norwegian state railway (NSB) for 50 FLIRT trains which can be up to 200 metres long, Stadler Rail is having to build a new Train Commissioning Centre (IBS Centre). The existing tracks at the factories in Bussnang and Altenrhein are too short. Stadler Rail has decided to build the new IBS Centre in Erlen in Thurgau.
The total investment, according to the plans at present, will be CHF 35 – 40 million. 60 people will work at this location in the future.

The Variobahn has arrived - the first lady from Berlin is greeted with a celebration in Munich

Stadler Pankow GmbH was successful in the summer of 2005 in winning a Europe-wide tender and is delivering the first of a total of 14 Variobahn trams to Stadtwerke München in Munich today.

“We have now arrived at one of the happiest milestones in such a contract,” said Michael Daum, CEO of Stadler Pankow GmbH, “the handover of the first vehicle. The period between being awarded the contract and delivery is the hardest for us as manufacturer but nevertheless one of the most pleasant - the creation of a modern means of transport to meet the needs of today.”
