Electric Intercity Multiple-unit FLIRT for LEO Express a.s., Czech Republic In September 2010, LEO Express a.s. has ordered 5 Intercity-low-floor multiple units of the FLIRT type. They will be operated as “LEO Express” starting in December 2012 on the Prague-Ostrava line and will set a new benchmark regarding passenger comfort. The passenger can choose between Premium-, Business- and Economy class. All classes provide tables and internet access. Spacious luggage holders and racks enable the storage of bigger luggage, which is important for an Intercity vehicle. Passengers with reduced mobility also will find a suitable compartment as well as a vacuum toilet accessible by wheelchair. Two standard vacuum toilets are additionally located in the end coaches. The catering trolley can be stored in a special, lockable compartment. Power supply for the trolley is secured by an electric socket. Exterior as well as interior design underline the special character of these trainsets.
