The GRAZ AG has ordered 45 tramways of type Variobahn for the exploitation in Graz city area. The Variobahn vehicles have a low-floor part of 100 % with a floor level of 350 mm above top of rail. The passenger area is brightly and spaciously designed thanks to the comfortable carbody with of 2.30 m. Moreover the one-way vehicles for GRAZ AG have two multipurpose areas for wheelchairs and pushchairs. The Variobahn is a modularly-constructed tram with clear interfaces and a high degree of flexibility and concerning length, width and gauge.
