Belarusian Railways - Interregio

The Belarusian railways in Belarus, has ordered from Stadler Bussnang AG 4 four-car trains (EMU’s) for the interregional traffi c of Belarus. Stadler’s FLIRT for Belarus is based on the design of the FLIRT for the Finnish leasing company Junakalusto Oy. This design is well prepared for the specifi c climatic condition in Belarus. E.g. the car body has been adjusted to the Belarusian vehicle gauge and the bogie to the Belarusian track gauge. Furthermore, the trains have been designed for the extreme climatic challenges of the Belarusian winter by taking the requirements to the thermal insulation etc. into account.
