Stadler Pankow GmbH, Berlin was established in 2000 as a joint venture with Adtranz. In June 2001, Stadler Rail AG acquired all shares of Stadler Pankow GmbH.
The Pankow location is responsible for the German market, and for the export of streetcars worldwide. Within the Stadler Rail Group, Stadler Pankow is the competence centre for the development of streetcars, and is therefore responsible for global streetcar business. Stadler Pankow GmbH is also the competence centre for the RS1 Regio-Shuttle.
All products for the German market, as well as streetcars for export, are manufactured in Berlin-Pankow. Stadler Pankow GmbH has another location in the Velten Service Centre (lower picture) in Brandenburg (Germany). In addition to the manufacture of individual components, the commissioning of the rail vehicles also takes place there.
