In 2006, the Algerian National Railway (SNTF) ordered 64 four-part FLIRTs for its Algiers S-Bahn. In addition, the contract calls for Stadler will service the complete fleet for at least ten years, i.e. until 2018. In order to guarantee this service, Stadler has set up a site in Algeria, whereby the service infrastructure will be made available by the customer SNTF.
