Stadler Wins Commuter Rail Car Award with Capital Metro
Bussnang, Switzerland - The Capital Metropolitan Transportation Authority Board of Direc-tors in Austin, Texas this week unanimously approved a rail car contract with Stadler Buss-nang AG, a Swiss company, for the delivery of six GTW articulated rail cars with an option for 12 additional vehicles. The initial contract is worth $32.3 million.

An Additional FLIRT Order for Stadler Pankow
As of December 2007, 19 three- and five-section electrical type "FLIRT" trains will run under the direction of the Westfalenbahn on the Teutoburger Wald Network’s line between Paderborn, Bielefeld, Münster, Osnabrück and Rheine in Nordrhein-Westfalen. Stadler Pankow GmbH, together with Angel Trains Europa GmbH, Co-logne closed the delivery contract representing a total volume of around 80 mil-lion euros on 23 June 2005.

Export success: A FLIRT for Budapest
Today the Hungarian National Railway (MAV) declared Stadler Bussnang AG the winner of an international tender for the delivery of 30 electric S-Rail vehicles for Budapest. 30 4-section FLIRT (Fast Light Innovative Regional Train) railcars with an approximate order amount of 235 million Swiss Francs.
