Further Success for Stadler’s Suburban Trains

The Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) has ordered another 31 four-carriage FLIRTs (Fast Light Innovative Regional Train) from Stadler Bussnang AG. With this or-der, the SBB redeems a second tranche of the option on up to 100 rail vehicles in the 26 September 2002 SBB contract – these in addition to the 42 rail vehicles de-livered to Stadtbahn Zug and the Regio-S-Bahn Basel. The 31 FLIRTs will operate as dual-system vehicles on the Ticino/Lombardy (TILO) rail network in 2007 and on the S-Bahn Basel network in Alsace (Mulhouse) in 2008. Stadler Pankow GmbH delivers 36 streetcars to Bochum and Gelsenkirchen

Bochum-Gelsenkirchener Straßenbahnen AG placed an order with Stadler Pankow GmbH for 30 low-floor and 6 high-floor railcars intended for city rail traffic. The order amounts to approximately 80 million Euro and provides the continued basis of a successful future for Stadler Pankow GmbH in Berlin.

The “Tango” is a modern high-floor streetcar which will run in the city centre of Bochum from 2007 on. The low-floor version is concerns the Variobahn, a well-tried vehicle which has been in successful operation in many cities for some time now. Stadler Wins Further Order in Italy

The Sistemi Territoriali S.p.A. in Padua has ordered 5 Diesel GTW Articulated Railcars from Stadler Bussnang AG. The new trains will run on the Adria-Mestre and Udine-Cividale lines as of Autumn 2006. The order amounts to 20 million Euro.

The Sistemi Territoriali S.p.A. (ST) in Padua will provide 5 new Diesel GTW Articulated Railcars for their Adria-Mestre and Udine-Cividale lines. Stadler Bussnang AG won this order within the framework of an international invitation of tenders. Stadler’s DMUs running successfully on the NJ TRANSIT River LINE

Stadler Rail Group is very happy to join in the APTA Technical Tour of Stadler’s DMUs running on the New Jersey Transit Authority’s River LINE next Monday, April 19th 2004. Stadler’s representatives will be present and are available to answer any Stadler product questions.

The River LINE vehicles were manufactured in Switzerland and Germany by the Stadler Rail Group in partnership with Bombardier Transportation.
